Academic Curriculum

📘 Mathematics

Mathematics learning at ABTS is contextual, beginning with concrete concepts through exploration and hands-on practice. The main focus is developing problem-solving skills. Each session lasts 35 minutes (Grades 1–6). Highlight programs include Math Whizz Wonderland and Math & Market Day.

🔬 Science

Basic Science lessons focus on real-life phenomena around the students. Through contextual activities, students develop skills such as observing, predicting, classifying, modeling, analyzing, and improving both communication and critical thinking abilities.

🕌 Islamic Studies

The aim of Islamic Education is to nurture a generation of Muslims who are grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah, possess noble character, independence, and global insight. Daily practices are guided by exemplary teachers. Special programs include Ramadhan Festival, Kultum (Short Talks), Adab Learning, and Keputrian (girls’ spiritual development).

📖 Language Literacy

The four key literacy skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—are integrated into daily activities. The literacy program is supported by regular library visits and classroom reading corners filled with books that students can borrow daily.

🇬🇧 English Language

English is taught from Grade 1 with an active, communicative approach. Students learn through stories, games, videos, role-plays, and Qur’an Translation activities. A daily English-speaking environment is maintained in the classrooms. Supporting programs include Daily Expression, English Day, Noble English Tournament, and the Qur’an Translation Program.

🇸🇦 Arabic Language

Arabic is introduced from Grade 4 to build foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Lessons include proper Qur’anic recitation (Tajweed), understanding simple Qur’anic texts, and exposure to Arabic culture and values. This program prepares students for more advanced Arabic learning in the future.
